What it costs

Straightforward Pricing, No Surprises

Every one-time build includes 6 months of Site Care from day one, then $89 a month. No hidden fees, no "call for a quote."

Site Care Plan: Every build includes 6 months of Site Care from day one, on every plan. It covers uptime monitoring, DNS support, SSL certificates, and watching over your domain's renewal date. The domain itself stays on your own account, so its small yearly fee is billed to you, not us. After the included period it is $89 a month or $890 a year. You own your domain and content forever.

All plans include your tier's revision rounds after you sign on (1 round Starter, 2 Professional, 3 Premium), plus a review together before launch.

The math

What is a rented website, and should you own yours?

A rented website is one you pay for every month but never own. A company builds it for little or nothing up front, then charges a monthly fee, typically $50 to $150. The site stays on their account. You are paying to use it, so their cancellation terms decide what you leave with.

An owned website works the other way. You pay once to have it built, the domain is in your name, and the files are yours. Paying someone to look after it is a choice, not a condition.

Renting costs less at the start. Owning costs less over time. Here is that math on our Starter plan.

Year 1

GoVisible Web (owned)$2,031
Subscription (rented)$948

Renting costs less at the start, and we won't pretend it doesn't.

Break-Even Point

~Month 40

GoVisible Web (owned)$3,099
Subscription (rented)$3,160

If you take the site over after two years, your spending stops here. Theirs does not. From this point, renting is the more expensive choice.

Year 5

GoVisible Web (owned)$3,099
Subscription (rented)$4,740

You paid nothing more after year two and you still own the site. The rental is still billing, for as long as you want the site online.

If you stop paying for a rented site

It depends on the contract, so read the cancellation terms before you sign. If the company keeps the site, you start over with whoever you hire next. If they also hold your domain, the web address customers know goes with it.

If you stop paying GoVisible Web

Nothing you paid for disappears. Your domain is in your name from day one. Give us 30 days' notice and every file is yours within 5 business days. Move the site to a host you choose, or we'll set it up there for a one-time fee of $147. Your web address stays the same, so customers still find you at it.

Based on our Starter tier: a $1,497 build, then Site Care at $89 a month after the included 6 months. We assume you keep Site Care two years, then take the site over yourself. Compared against a $79 a month subscription, in the middle of the $50 to $150 range we found. Your domain's own fee, typically $10 to $20 a year, isn't counted on either side. A bigger build costs more up front, so on Professional and Premium the crossover comes later. What never changes is that your bill can end and theirs cannot.

Optional extras

Add-Ons

These are for work on a site that is already built and live. Adding one page on its own takes more work than building it with the rest of the site, so it costs more. If you already know you want twelve pages and a logo, Premium is the cheaper way to get them.

AI Search CheckWe ask Google, Bing, ChatGPT and Claude the questions your customers ask. You get a PDF report of what each one says about you, who it names instead, and what to fix.

Google Ads setupOne-time: account, conversion tracking and first campaign.

Google Ads managementIf you spend more than $3,300 a month on ads, it is 15% of that spend instead. Ad spend goes to Google, not to us.
$497/mo
Annual content refreshUpdating words and photos on pages you already have. Not a redesign.

Billing

Billing Questions

Do I have to pay a monthly fee right away?
No. Every build includes 6 months of Site Care from day one, on every plan, at no extra cost. You only start paying $89/month (or $890/year) once your included period ends.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. We hand over all your site files, domain transfer authorization, and login credentials within 5 business days. If you'd rather not figure out deployment yourself, we'll get your site live on your new host of choice for a flat $147 — entirely optional.
Who owns my domain — you or me?
You, always. If you don't have one yet, we register it for you during onboarding, but it's registered in your name — as part of Site Care we watch your renewal date, manage the DNS settings and keep the security certificate current. The yearly fee is billed to you. See how we handle domains for the full picture.
Can I pay for just the build, with no ongoing plan?
Yes — a self-managed option is available: your build tier plus an independence fee ($897 Starter, $1,297 Professional, $1,897 Premium). Same build and revision process as everyone else, no Site Care Plan at any point, and your files delivered immediately at launch — fully independent from day one.
How does the retainer relate to the Site Care Plan?
A monthly retainer replaces the Site Care Plan and adds ongoing content — blog posts, Google Business Profile posts, social content. We only recommend adding one after you've seen your site live for a month or two.
Does any plan guarantee my site is ADA compliant?
No. Every plan is built to common accessibility guidelines and checked with automated tools before launch. We don't certify or guarantee that a site meets the ADA, WCAG or any other accessibility law or standard, and a formal accessibility audit isn't included in any plan. See our FAQ for what we do and don't cover.
