What a Wedding Photographer Website Needs
A wedding photographer's website needs published prices, full galleries of named weddings, an About page and an inquiry form that asks for the date. We studied five photographers around Atlanta, going through every page of each site in September 2026.
Should a wedding photographer publish prices?
Yes. All five did, and none made couples ask for a quote first. One photographer's packages ran from $1,990 to $5,190. Another advertised weekday elopements from $999.
Most couples set a photography budget before they start looking. A price on the page tells them right away that you're in range.
Should I show full galleries or a best-of grid?
Full galleries. Most of the five showed complete weddings by couple and venue, with a best-of grid as a second page. A full gallery shows the whole day, including the reception after dark.
Do couples need an online booking calendar?
No. None of the five offered one. A photographer shoots one wedding a day, usually booked six to eighteen months out. So the first question is always the date. Make it the first field on your inquiry form.
What packages do couples expect?
All five sold coverage by the hour and an engagement session. Four of the five also offered an elopement or small-wedding package, a second photographer and albums with a published price. Three offered video, and three covered weddings that run across more than one day.
What should a wedding photographer's About page show?
You. All five About pages centered on the photographer, because the person behind the camera is who the couple is booking. Show your face, then tell them how you work on the day.
Does a wedding photographer need a blog?
All five had one. Four also published planning guides on venues, timelines or locations. A post about a venue shows a couple who booked it what their day there could look like.
What pages should a wedding photographer website have?
- Published prices, hourly coverage and engagement sessions: all five.
- An About page with your face on it, and a blog: all five.
- Full galleries by couple and venue: most.
- Elopements, a second photographer and priced albums: four of five.
- An online booking calendar: none.

Common questions
Should a wedding photographer put prices on their website?
Yes. All five Atlanta-area wedding photographers we studied published prices. One photographer's packages ran from $1,990 to $5,190.
Does a wedding photographer need online booking?
Not a calendar. None of the five we studied offered one. Most book one wedding a day, months ahead, so an inquiry form that asks for the date comes first.
What packages do wedding photographers offer?
Hourly coverage and an engagement session, which all five photographers we studied offered. Four of five also sold elopements, a second photographer and albums.
Where do these figures come from?
- Five wedding photographers in metro Atlanta and north Georgia, read on their own websites in September 2026. Five sites is a small sample.
How GoVisible Web does it differently
