What a Remodeling Company Website Needs
A remodeling website needs a free estimate or consultation request, a gallery of finished work and testimonials. All five kitchen and bath remodelers we studied around Atlanta had all three. Most also showed an in-house design service and let visitors browse cabinets, countertops and tile.
We read each company's site in September 2026, in Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Roswell, Dunwoody and Atlanta.
What question do remodeling websites leave unanswered?
None of the five said how long a family would be without a kitchen. One gave a typical project length of 8 to 10 weeks in its FAQ. It never said whether the kitchen could be used during that time.
Homeowners picture dust, strangers in the house and weeks of takeout. That is often why they call. A page that walks through the weeks, and says when the kitchen is out of action, answers it before anyone has to ask.
Should a remodeling company publish prices?
Four of the five published no price at all. The fifth gave a range inside an FAQ answer: “typically $10,000 to $50,000 or more.” None of them said they charge for the first consultation.
You can show a starting price for each kind of job instead. It tells a homeowner whether to call, without promising a number the house may not allow.
Should the kitchen and bathroom have separate pages?
Yes. Kitchen and bath were the two services all five sold, and every one listed the kitchen first in its menu. Most also sold cabinets, countertops and flooring. A kitchen page and a bathroom page, each with its own photos, let a visitor find the job they are planning.
How do you show a remodeler is licensed in Georgia?
Show your license number where people look for it. Georgia licenses residential contractors through the State Licensing Board for Residential and Commercial General Contractors. A company's license number starts with RBCO, and homeowners can look up any number on the Secretary of State's website. Put the number, your insurance and your workmanship warranty in one place.
Is aging-in-place work worth putting on the site?
Yes, if you do it. None of the five mentioned aging-in-place work, such as grab bars, curbless showers and wider doors. The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist credential comes from the National Association of Home Builders, developed with AARP, and takes three courses. If you hold it, show it. If you do the work, give it a page.
What pages should a remodeling website have?
- Free estimate or consultation, a gallery and testimonials: all five.
- An in-house design service and materials to browse: most.
- Pages for the cities served: at least three.
- A numbered process, financing and a stated warranty: at least two each.
- How long the kitchen is out of use, or aging-in-place work: none.

How GoVisible Web does it differently
We did the same study for these five remodelers that we do for every client: five competitors in your own market, read page by page. On every plan, your site gets separate kitchen and bathroom pages, and before-and-after pages built from photos you already have. It also shows a starting price per job type, and your license, insurance and warranty in one place. The page that says when your kitchen is out of use comes with Professional, at $3,297. See it on our remodeling page.
- You get a free preview of your site in 48 hours, before you pay. No card and no obligation.
- We study five of your local competitors in your trade before we write a word.
- Every site is set up so Google, Bing and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Grok can read your business details.
