How Much Does Google Business Profile Management Cost?

The agencies we checked charge $300 to $700 a month to look after a Google Business Profile. Plans that add review requests and more listings work run $800 to $1,200 a month. Setup fees are common too, and one agency publishes $250 to $750.

We read those prices on agency websites in October 2026. Near Cumming, one agency says “as low as $300” a month, and another charges $649 to $699, which also includes website writing. Elsewhere in the US, profile-only plans we found ran from $400 to $1,000 a month.

Why don't more agencies publish a price?

We looked at six local agencies that sell this work. Only one showed a full monthly price. The rest offered a quote, a budget tool or a one-line “as low as” figure. That makes it hard to compare before you call anyone.

What should the monthly fee include?

The profile itself is free from Google. You are paying for someone's time each month. Expect at least:

• Posts to your profile, usually weekly.
• A reply to every review, good or bad.
• New photos, and answers to the questions people ask on your profile.
• Hours, services and categories kept correct.
• A short report each month on what was done.

One agency that publishes its numbers puts this at 4 to 6 hours of skilled work a month. It also warns that plans under $200 a month are usually automated. Higher plans add review requests and your name, address and phone kept matching across dozens of directories.

Is a setup fee normal?

Yes. The first month is the heaviest. Setup usually means fixing gaps in the profile and connecting Google's free site tools. It also means cleaning up old listings that show the wrong phone number or address. Once that is done, the monthly work is upkeep.

What should you watch out for?

• A promise of a top spot on Google Maps. Nobody controls what Google shows. Distance from the searcher counts for a lot.
• Paying for reviews, or asking only happy customers. Google's rules forbid both, and Google removes reviews it finds that broke them.
• Being asked for your Google password. You add the agency as a manager on your profile instead, and you can remove them at any time.
• A long contract. Month to month is common for this work.

Can I manage my Google profile myself?
